Spicy Chipotle Hummus



Hummus is one of my favorite snacks.  I’ve made it a few different ways and each of them were good, but this is one of my favorites. I made this version without olive oil, but you can add a tablespoon of  oil if you wish.

Here is what you will need.



Place the drained and rinsed garbanzo beans (chickpeas) into a food processor.



Pulse for a few seconds.



Add garlic clove, cumin, salt, and pepper.



Add lime juice and chipotle pepper.



Add two tablespoons of water.

Pulse until desired consistency.

Pour into a bowl and dust with Paprika. Serve with pita chips.
